Stanky Leg, Depressing Robot Sluts, Mascots

So its been forever since any of us have written in here, and I would rather write this than my paper so I guess I'll just pretend like someone cares or reads this. but I'm probably actually talking to myself. That's embarassing. But I'm doing it right now. It's like one of those things that is never-ending- like apologizing for saying sorry....
So, question of the month- toothpaste: liquid or solid?
I definitely vote liquid. I mean it's in a tube and travels through the narrow top. totally changes shape. anyway, that's one of things we talked about on the car ride to New Orleans. Spring Break '09! Wooo! Other things we did on the van ride- make fun of Brad- we played "this game where you like think of something, like it can be anything, and y-you just guess what it is. like you can only ask yes or no questions, like a certain number of them, like say 20." while playing 20 questions, we just made lots of jokes such as these: Do you use it everyday? no, most people do. Is it your brain? Is it a tool? pause. Is it Brad? everything was followed by "oooohhhh" and then we just decided to not say anything for 30 minutes and all dance in unison. oh and in reference to the title, for some reason, Dallas ozone like really liked the stanky leg. so it was kind of the theme song.
But seriously, the mission trip was freaking awesome. I think we all learned a lot about what it really means to serve and love people. The highlite was for sure the barbecue we had in Hollygrove. We just walked around this crazy neighborhood inviting people to our cookout, and then got to hang out with some awesome people for a couple of hours. It was one of my favorite things ever. I mean at one point, Maggie was having dance offs with everyone, there were like 5 girls braiding tina's hair, we were all having piggyback races, and Connie had 3 precious girls following her around and calling her mom. It was beautiful.
Another thing that blew me away was how friendly, genuine, and all around baller the people in New Orleans were. It just reminded me that we can't judge or ever even really understand other people's situations, but at the same time are not that different.

After the Mission Trip we went to Taylor Swift for Amy's birthday. She flipped her hair about 4,000 times and was extremely sassy. I'm mentioning her because I just stumbled on her blog.... yall should probably check it out.
And just in case she doesn't write on it soon, Julie is trying out for Mascot next week and is going to be the best mascot in the history of Memorial. and vote #10- Linda- for cheerleading!

Peace, love, friendship.
